Perast & Our Lady of the Rocks

The two most beautiful sights of the inner bay in a compact hour and a half — the perfect trip if you want the postcard highlights of the Boka without spending half a day on the water.

From the Port of Kotor (in front of the Old Town) we glide beneath the mountains to Our Lady of the Rocks, the famous island that Perast sailors built by hand, stone by stone, over centuries. You have twenty minutes ashore to visit the church, peek into its museum and take in the best view of Perast there is.

Then it is Perast itself: half an hour to wander the single waterfront street of the little Baroque town that once ruled these waters — a coffee by the sea, a photo from the pier — before an easy cruise back to Kotor. Short, calm and family-friendly.

    Step onto the legendary man-made island. Visit the church of Our Lady, its little museum full of sailors’ offerings, and enjoy a view of Perast you can only get from the water.

    Half an hour in the best-preserved Baroque town on the Adriatic. Wander the waterfront palaces, grab a quick coffee by the sea or just soak up the view of the islands.

  • Departure is from the Port of Kotor (in front of the Old Town) — pick-up from other spots around the bay is possible on request.
  • Stepping onto Our Lady of the Rocks island costs 5 € per person, paid on the island. Entering the church is optional — the fee is just for going ashore.
  • This is a sightseeing trip with no swim stops — no swimwear needed.
  • Calm inner-bay waters the whole way — great for families with children and anyone who prefers a gentle ride.
